Experienced Assistance With Driver’s License Reinstatement
Driver’s License Restoration
The criminal defense attorneys at Vandervoort, Christ & Fisher, P.C., have helped many clients restore their driving privileges after a drunk driving conviction. If you have been convicted of OWI (operating while intoxicated) and need to speak with an attorney, we encourage you to contact our law offices in Battle Creek or Coldwater, Michigan. For assistance, contact us at (269) 965-7000.
Getting It Right The First Time
Once drivers have had their license revoked for an OWI conviction, they may have to wait one to five years to apply for driver’s license reinstatement. The process can be complicated and before drivers may have their license restored, they must appear at a hearing before the secretary of state. If drivers have their application for reinstatement denied, they may not be able to get another hearing for six or 12 months.
Our attorney team includes two former prosecutors. We have extensive experience in OWI criminal cases and driver’s license restoration hearings (also called driver’s license appeals hearings). If retained to handle your case, we will take time to understand the facts of your case, determine the steps you have taken to restore your license, and prepare diligently for your hearing to make a strong case for reinstatement on your behalf.
